Interim Infrastructure Programme Lead 
£750 per day 
12 months 

We are looking for a seasoned Infrastructure Programme lead to drive Projects and Programmes discipline, including development and improvement, business efficiency and cultural change.  This exciting role for a forward thinking local authority will play a pivotal role in planning for, and especially delivering the Major Infrastructure and Growth delivery plan including all capital infrastructure work to deliver an ambitious capital programme with improved quality of service. 

With a budget of circa £200+m Capital (over 5 years), with supporting revenue budgets, it’s crucial you have significant capital budget management experience.  You will need superb stakeholder management skills as you will be working with cross funding of various streams including Housing Infrastructure Fund, Housing and Growth Deal, City Deal, LGF, Internal funding sources and others.  As such, this will be a challenging, complex but highly rewarding assignment. 

You will need to have recognised relevant professional qualification and/or membership of professional body e.g. Chartered Engineer, PMP and a relevant degree and/or significant experience within the areas managed such as Programme Management, Civil Engineering and Construction.
Experience of working on the regional and/or national stage, with demonstrable experience in liaising with Government and partner agencies such as the LEP, Homes England and DfT would be highly beneficial.
